(Buster) Smallwood were held Monday at Ninde Funeral Chapel in Tulsa. Mr. Smallwood, a former resident of Hammon, was a Tulsa contractor at the time of his death. Victim of a car accident, Mr. Smallwood was killed instantly when his station wagon hit a ready-mix cement truck which skidded on the wet pavement, throwing it into the path of his car. Attending the Monday services were: Mrs. George Page, Leedey, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Cordum and the Cordum's daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Gamble, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Chester F. (Buster) Smallwood, 1440 East Skyline Drive, Tusla, Oklahoma was killed December 10, 1965 when his car and a cement mixer truck collided headon. Highway Patroleman George Stratton, said Chester F. Smallwood was dead on arrival at St. Frances Hospital of head and internal injuries. The cement mixer truck, driven by James A. Reynolds, as not injured. Stratton said the truck went out of control on the rain slick road, crossed the center line and knocked Smallwood's car 61 feet backward. The two vehicles were welded together by the impact, the Highway Patroleman said. The Standard Industries, Inc. vehicle bore a safety slogan, "Watch Your Child". Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
