(Adele) Simon, 82 yeard old mother of Mrs. M.A. Farha of Elk City, were held at 10 a.m. Friday in Clinton's First Presbyterian Church with Rev. William B. Sawn, Jr. officiating. Final furneral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday in the St. Elijah Orthodox church in Oklahoma City's Fairlawn cemetery. Mrs. Simon, who had lived in Clinton since 1942, died Wednesday October 1, 1966 in a Clinton hospital. Mrs. Simon was born in Lebanon and was married to the late N. Simon in 1901. The couple immigrated to the United States in 1902. After arriving in New York, the moved to Sherman, Texas, and came to Oklahoma in 1907. The family has been in the mercantile business with stores located in Drumright, Tipton, Clinton, Elk City and other cities. Besides her daughter here, she is survived by another daughter, Mrs. C.O. Saied, of Oklahoma City; five sons, Sam, Ernest, Dr. Floyd, Mitchell and Dr. Ralph, all of Clinton; one brother T.S. Farhood, of New York City; one sister, Mrs. Haseeba Cohimia, of Lebanon; 26 grandchildren and nine grandchildren. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
