He was 73. Funeral services were at noon at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Interment was at Laural Land Memorial Park. The family received friends from 6 to 8 at Laural Land Funeral Home of Fort Worth, which was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Summers was a native of Crawford, Oklahoma. He lived in Fort Worth from 1946 until 1984, when he moved to Alvord in Wise County. He retired from American Manfacturing in 1985. He was a veteran of World War II and served in Europe. Mr. Summers was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church of Sunset. The family suggests that memorial be made to the building fund of First Baptist Church of Sunset or Harris Methodit Hospice in Decatur. Survivors are wife of 49 years, Greta Summers; three sons, Thomas W. Summers of Forest Hill, Jack M. Summers of Watonga and Gary L.
