Danny graduated from Elk City High School in 1973 and attended York Christian College. He married Christine Ann Werger on August 2, 1975 in York, Nebraska. They lived in Oklahoma City while Danny attended Oklahoma State Barber College. After graduation they returned to Elk City to make their home. Danny worked with his father in Broadway Baber Shop for 17 years and later bought the shop in 1993. Danny loved his Harley and was an avid woodworker. He was a member of the Second and Adams Church of Christ where he served as a deacon and was a song leader. He was preceded in death bvy his maternal and paternal grandparents. He is survived by his wife, Chris of the home, 2 sons, Steven and Jeremiah both of the home; his parents, Harm and Robbie Summers of Elk City; 1 brother, Robert Lee Summers, San Diego, California; 2 sisters, Donna Bain of Elk City and Lisa ipson of Weatherford, Oklahoma; and a host of other relatives and friends. Services were held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday November 8, 1997 at the Second and Adams Church of Christ officiated by Tom Harguess, and assisted by Rod Minor.
