Amarillo Globe News 25 Mar 1997 Hazel White Seright ELK CITY, Okla. - Hazel White Seright, 80, died Sunday, March 23, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Prairie View Baptist Church with the Rev. Kyle Streun, grandson and pastor of First Baptist Church of Olton, Texas, and the Rev. Boyd Whitehead, pastor of Emmanual Baptist Church at Altus, officiating. Burial will be in Sayre-Doxey Cemetery by Whinery-Savage Funeral Service. Mrs. Seright was born in Berlin, Okla., and attended school at Doxey. She lived in Beckham County until moving to Hereford, Texas, in 1989. She married Leonard Seright in 1935. He died in 1983. She was a homemaker, a former Sunday school teacher and a longtime member of the Merritt Quilting Club and Prairie View Baptist Church.
