Earl, son of Charles Issac and Lola May Shirley, moved with his parents to Judison, Arkansas and later to Erick in 1947. In 1960 he moved to Cheyenne where he remained to make his home. Earl was a member of the First Baptist Church in Erick. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 sister Betty Jo, and 2 brothers Tom and Howard. He is survivied by: 4 sisters, Edith Cain of Worthington, Indiana; JoAnn Callen of Altus, Oklahoma; Jewel Martin of Antlers, Oklahoma; Juanell Crosby of Blair, Oklahoma; 3 brothers, Calfin Shirley of Decatur, Michigan;' Charles Shirley of Dawjiac, Michigan; Truse Shirley of San Antonio, Texas; and a host of other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held Sunday, December 15, 1991 at 2:00 p.m. in the Fatheree-Albert Chapel with D. Jay Lewis officiating. Interment was in the Fairmont Cemetery, Hollis, Oklahoma, under the direction of Fatheree-Albert Funeral Home of Erick. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
