Died March 13, 1940, at the age of 46 years, 5 months and 8 days. She was married May 28, 1914 to D.B. Sharum and to this union was born nine children. Mrs. Viola Stroud preceded her in death November 11, 1934, Dalton Sharum age 22, Owen Sharum 21, Wilson Sharum 18, Dovie Lee, 16, Dannie, 14, Glen, 12, Vreta May, 9, Louise Sharum, 5, are children surviving. There is one grandson, J.D. Stroud. Other relatives include a mother, ______(not legable) brother, Robert Tidwell of Sonora, California; Simon, Miles, and William near Foss and Lee Tidwell of Cordell, Oklahoma; four sisters Mrs Lou Leary, of Stafford, Oklahoma, Mrs. Ethel Leary, of ________(not legable) House of Texarkana, Arkansas; two half sisters, Mrs. Joe Browing and Mattie Frazier, of Foss; besides a host of other relatives and friends who are left to mourn her death. She united with the Methodist church at the age of 16 years. Services were conducted at the Pentecostal church, with Mrs. Alfred M. Hatchet officiating. Tunnard Funeral Home was in charge.
