(Mary T.) Simpson, pioneer resident of western Oklahoma, who lived in the Rose Hill community, died Friday afternoon in an Elk City hospital following an attack of appendicitis. Funeral services for Mrs. Reynolds were held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Rose Hill school building, with Rev. J.L. Davis, pastor of the Sayre circuit of the Methodist church officiating. She was born November 1, 1881, in Stoddard county, Mo. Death came at the age of 54 years, three monts and 27 days of age. She was married in 1905 to T.A. Simpson shortly after hjer family had moved to Oklahoma. To this union 12 children were born. Survivors are her husband T.A., three daughters Mrs. Ronie Branson, Beulah Simpson and Bertha Simpson; six sons, Flynn Simpson, Cecil Simpson, Henry Simpson, Floyd Simpson, Hermon Simpson, Roy Simpson; three brothers, Jessie Frank Reynolds of Arkansas, Grant Reynolds and Charles Reynolds, both of Idaho; and one sister, Mrs. Dollie Liggett of Arkansas.
