She was married to W. W. Smith in Southwest City, Missouri, August 4, 1888. To this union were born 3 children who, with the husband survived her. One son, Lee J. Smith of the home, one daughter, Love J. Smith, also of the home and another daughter, Mrs. Ruth Brown of Tulsa, Oklahoma. 3 grandchildren ZenZa Irene Smith, Juanita Brown and W.C. Brown, one sister Mrs. L.W. Pate, Neosho, Missouri, three brothers, A.B. Reser, Oolagah, Oklahoma, and W.J. Reser, Phoenix, Arizona, besides several nieces and nephews also survive her. She joined the Re-organized Church of Latter Day Saints in Mathewson, Oklahoma, thirty years ago and was a faithful follower to the end. Her membership was in the church at Sperry, Oklahoma. The deceased was a Past Noble Grand of the Rebekah Lodge also a member of the Royal Neighbors. Funeral services were conducted in Independence, Missouri by Rev. Amon White of the L.D.S. Church. Burial services at Neosho, Missouri in charge of Rebekah Lodge. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Rimbey of Cheyenne were present at the funeral. Jack was a nephew of the deceased.
