She was the daughter of Robert Wheeler and Barbara Duke Wheeler. Jane passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was 68 years of age. Jane grew up in the Preston area. She attended Preston High School and graduated Preston High School and graduated with the Class of 1959. She continued her education at Draughns Business School. Jane Wheeler and Larry Spring were united in marriage on June 16, 1961 at Okmulgee, Oklahoma. They have celebrated 48 years of marriage. During that time they have resided in Liberty Mounds. Jane was employed with Bixby Telephone Company for the past 31 years. Jane was recently named Employee of Quarter. Things that enjoyed in life were her grandkids and crocheting. Jane was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Bobby Dean Wheeler. Jane is survived by: her husband, Larry of the home; One son, Larry Dale Spring and wife, Susan of Twin Hills, Oklahoma; One daughter, Teressa Gayle Lee and husband, Kirk of Bixby, Oklkahoma; Two brothers, Rev. Billy Wheeler and wife, Andrea of Houston, Texas and Jim Wheeler and wife, Shirley of Boynton, Oklahoma, Grandchildren, Clinton Spring and wife, Kindrea; Blake Spring; Kody Lee and Kenzie Lee. Memorial services were held Friday, January 29, 2010 at the Rivercrest Chapel in Bixby, Oklahoma, officiated by Bro. Chad Eads. Servicesz were under the direction of Bixby Funeral Home.
