She passed away May 11, 2007 at Cheyenne, Oklahoma at the age of 60 years, 6 months and 21 years. Carrol grew up 5 miles west of Cheyenne graduating in 1964 from Cheyenne High School. In 1966 she was married to Malcom Dobbs at Clinton, Oklahoma. She later attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford and Sayre where she received her Associates Degree as a medical technician in 1975. She was married to Freddie Eugene Stamper at America, KS on October 23, 1976. After their marriage they moved from America, KS to Roll, Oklahoma and later to Cheyenne in 1980 to make their home. Carrol became a EMT in the early 80's so she could serve and give back to the community that she lived in. Later in Carrol's life she worked as a Lab Tehnician. Carrol enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, working with animals and gardening. She was also a member of the Cheyenne United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Lee Roark. She is survived by her husband, Eugene, of the home; 2 daughters, Christy Ann Manhart and husband, Clayton, Butler, Oklahoma and Michelle Elizabeth Brookman and husband, Richard, Lakin, KS; 4 sons, Keith Allen Dobbs and wife Christina, Elk City, Oklahoma, Kevin Eugene Stamper and wife, Nicole, Ansbach, Germany, Kyle Louise Stamper andc wife Misty, Sayre, Oklahoma, and Kelton Joe Stamper, of the home; 11 grandchildren, Gena, Logan, April, Mikayla, Elijah, Halee, Ashlyn, Emma, Kelsey, Christiane and Jordan; mother, Josephine Daughtery, Cheyenne, Oklahoma; 1 sister, Nancy Cook and husband, Danny; 3 brothers, Dale Roark, Dwayne Roark, and wife Juhretta and Deryl Roark and wife, Lawana, Cheyenne, Oklahoma and a host of other relatives and friends. Services were held on Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at 2 p.m. at the Cheyenne United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Fernando Padilla, Jr. Burial will be at Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service, Cheyenne, Oklahoma.
