Burial was in Coal City, Indiana. She died, Wednesday morning May 21, 1986, folloiwng a sudden illness. She was born in Missouri and moved to western Oklahoma at an early age. She married Otis Tipton on February 6, 1916, in Leedey. She lived for a short while in Nebraska before returning to Leedey. She has lived in Enid since 1929. She was a long time nurse's aid at Enid Memorial Hospital before retiring. she was a member of the North Garland Church of Christ. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Thelma) Schaffer of Burns Flat and Mrs. Dean (Helen) Reagan of Bloomington, Indiana, a son Aubrey Tipton of Billings, a sister, Mrs. Art Stagner of Ventura, California; a brother, Wilfred Conner of San Diego, California; 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
