The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ==================================================================== Surnames: Tucker, Teurman, McCurry Originally posted at: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/5YB.2ACE/5110 Gary Tucker was born December 5, 1947 in Sayre, Oklahoma to Imogene and George Lee Tucker and passed away after a three and one half years battle with leukemia on December 10, 1994 in the Great Plains Regional Medical Center at the age of 47 years and 5 days. Gary graduated from Sayre High School in 1966 and later graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Vocational Agriculture. He taught vocational agriculture for apporximately 12 years at Ninnekay, Hobart and El Reno. He also served for in the National Guard from Mangum from 1970 through 1976. He moved south of Sayre to farm and later found himself employed with Farmer Home Administration. Gary married Rebecca Lou Teurman on July 22, 1983 in Sayre, Oklahoma and to this union they were blessed with one son, Kody, on July 16, 1985. Gary later accepted the position of Vice-President with the Geary Bank and remained there until 1987 when they returned to their home south of Sayre and Gary returned to work for the Farmers Home Administration. He was a member of Elk City Grandview Assembly of God Church. He is survived by his wife, Becky, and son Kody Lee, both of the home; one sister, Meredith McCurry of Lovington, New Mexico; and a host of Aunts, Uncles, other relatives and friends. Services were Tuesday December 13, 1994 at the Elk City Grandview Assembly of God Church officiated by Mark Little, and assisted by C.R. Tucker. Interment was at the Delhi Cemetery under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
