Tedrowe, wife of Dr. C.W. Tedrowe of Elk City, died at the Elk City hospital, last Thursday, July 10, 1913 after an operation. Dr. and Mrs. Tedrowe were former citizens of Cheyenne and their many friends here were grieved when word reached our little city of the death of Mrs. Tedrowe. It is diffucult for us to pay a fitting tribute to the memory of so noble a woman-one whose every day life was embellished by the most charming and lovable attributes of her sex. A perfect lady at all times, under all circumstances, she seemed born to inspire the love and respect of all who were so fortunate as to be acquainted with her. No one was more willing to aid the suffering, cheer the despondent, sustain the weak and to throw over the fralities of our race the mantle of Christian charity. Hundreds of friends viewed the remains in the home Sunday at Elk City, after which the body was shipped to Indianpolis, Indiana, her old home, for interment. The Sentinel joins with the many friends at Cheyenne and throughout Roger Mills County in extending to Dr. Tedrowe and son, John of Elk City, and her sister, Mrs. C.W. Wallace, wife of Dr. Wallace of this city sincere sympathy. Cheyenne Sentinel, Cheyenne OK 17-Jul-1913
