Taylor, 78, retired teacher and rancher, died Wednesday. Services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Belle Plains, United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Gwendoline; son, Billy L. of Belle Plaine; daughther, Sammie Blasdel of Tulsa, stepson, Walter Sanders, stepdaughter, Hope Harrold, both of Belle Plaine; sisters, Ethel Schrum, Nell Sewell, both of Amarillo, Texas; Bobbie Fisher of Burlington, Colorado; six grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; two great grandchildren; nine step-great grandchildren. Memorial have been established with Belle Plaine City Library and United Methodist Church.
