Taylor Funeral services for George W. Taylor, Reydon resident who died Wednesday September 17, 1958, were Saturday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. in the Assembly of God church in Reydon, with the Rev. Frankie Pollard and the Rev. Norman Widener officiating. Born June 2, 1895 in Linden, Nebraska, he was a member of the Church of the Nazarene and a World War I veteran. Survivors are four brothers, Wayne of Reydon, Verne, Cheyenne, Paul of Spearman, Texas, and J.T. of Mayes, Kansas, 3 sisters, Mrs. Etta DeCracker of Schoolcraft, Michigan, Mrs. Fern Ruby of Wichita, Kansas, Mrs. Agnes Meeks of Los Angeles, California. Committal was in the White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with graveside rites by the Reydon American Legion. Arrangements were in charge of the Scroggins Funeral Home.
