J.M. Gibble of Sayre delivering the sermon. She had been a devoted member of the Church of Christ since 1889. Mrs. Taylor, who died in the Sayre Hospital, resided in the Berlin Community for many years preceding the death of her husband John A. Taylor. She was 79 years of age at the time of her passing. Survivors include three sons, Nat M. Taylor, Lookeba, Oklahoma; Frank G. Taylor, Hobart, Oklahoma and Andrew L. Taylor of McAlester, Oklahoma, two daughters, Mrs. H.A. Brothers, Ft. Knox, Kentucky and Mrs. W. C. Wall, Sayre, Oklahoma. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK 4-Jan-1951 ========= In the passing of Nancy Elizabeth Beck Taylor, western Oklahoma has lost another one of the pioneers. Born in Arkansas, August 22, 1871 and emigrated to the State of Texas ______(can't read) which was then the frontier, at the age of nine years. In 1881 the family moved to Somerville County. Here she grew to womanhood; became a teacher and married John H. Taylor, moving to Roger Mills County in 1899. Here she spent the remainign years of a long and useful life. "Aunt Nannie," as she was generally known, was the mother of eight children, three of whom died in infancy. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1942. Her living children are: Nat M. Taylor of Lookeba, Oklahoma; Frank G. Taylor of Hobart, Oklahoma; Andrew L. Taylor of McAlester, Oklahoma, Addie Brothers of Fort Knox, Kentucky and Keziah Wall of Sayre, Oklahoma. She leaves to mourn her passing, her five childdren, twenty grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren, other relatives and a host of good neighbors. She was a loving mother and a good neighbor. Interment in Berlin cemetery, Berlin, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
