When she was nine years of age her parents moved from Nebraska to Oklahoma where she grew to womanhood, near Rankin, Oklahoma. There she met and married William Ealey Thompson, May 3, 1916 at Rankin and to this union seven childdren were born four of whom preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, one son, William Thompson; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Shephard of Escarod, California, and Mrs. Irene Privitt of Chaulaviata, Californisa; six grandchildren, five brothers, three sisters and a host of other relatives and friends. She was baptized with the Methodist church in August of 1901, later uniting with the Church of the Nazarfene. Friday, November 1, 1946 at 4:30 A.M. she fell asleep to be with Jesus. She was a kind and loving wife and mother. She loved her Jesus, her Church, her home and her family, and was loved by all who knew her. Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 5th, 1946 from the Assembly of God Church at Reydon, Oklahoma, Rev. J. Lewis Ingle, Pastor of the Church of the Nazarene of Erick officiated. Interment was in the White Rose Cemetery, near Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
