Keith Russell officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home. Freddie Newton Thomas was born June 19, 1940 in Decatur, Arkansas and died Thursday morning November 26, 1992 at the age of 52. Freddie attended schools in Rogers, Arkansas and Elk City before graduating from Hammon High School in 1959. He was married to Judy Cribbs Novlitt in May of 1970 in Norman and they established their home in Elk City. Freddie worked as a brick layer and plumber before becoming a truck driver. He worked for the Bill Hodges Trucking firm for the past several years. He was a member of the Pleasant hill Baptist Church in Rogers, Arkansas. Besides his wife Judy of the Elk City home, survivers include three children: Kevin Noblitt of Paris, Texas; Belynda Kihoffer and her husband Kevin and Darlene Sellers and her husband Steve all of Elk City, Six grandchildren: Jennifer and Angela Nobblitt of Paris, Texas; Melissa and Micah Kilhoffer and and Jacob Sellers all of Elk City. Also seven brothers and sisters Forrest Thomas, Bullhead City, Arizona; James Thomas of Palmdale, California; Leota Bailey of Clovis, New Mexico; Betty Boyd of Tulsa, Oklahoma and B.F.Thomas and Ocell rimmett and Dotty Summers all of Rogers, Arkansas. Several nieces and nephews as well as a special person who had lived in the home, Mike Whitson and his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, two sisters and one granddaughter.
