Dr. George R. Ditterline, minister of the Center Stree Methodist Church, officiating. Active bearers were Morris Lewalling, Louis Brochero, Finis Pyeatt, John Smith, Alfred Seay and Mack Dennis. Honary bearers were: Bill Wallace, Ed Farrow, Pete Andrews, Clarence Lumpec, Pete Ramsey, Bill Ramsey and O.B. Palmer and Elder Dennis. Interment was in Tucumcari Memorial Park. Mr. Thomas died at 8:20 p.m. Friday in the home of his son 1301 S. Jackson in Tucumcari. He had been ill about three months. A resident of Norton since 1914 when he homesteaded, he had come to New Mexico from Oklahoma. Mr. Thomas was a member of the Center Street Methodist church of Tucumcari. Survivors include his wife, Linnie Thomas of Norton; two sons Joe H. Thomas, of Tecumcari and I.H. Thomas of San Berardino, California; a daughter, Mrs. Charles Gill of Tucumcari and six grandchildren. Two brothers, Wilbern I. Thomas and Harlen A. Thomas live in Cheyenne, Oklahoma Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
