She was united in marriage to Edward Wells March 10. 1896, at Harrisonville, MO. To this union were born eight children. They moved from Missouri to Oklahoma in 1900 and filed on land North of Reydon. Except for a few years spent living in Illinois, she has lived in the Reydon community for 60 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband and one grandson. She leaves to mourn her children, Alex Wells, Lila Wells, Sadie Polk, of Reydon, Cynthis Williams, Dorrauzette, Texas, Robert Wells, Arnett, Mary Rebbons, Hammond, Indiania, Zeldo Crawford, Camargo, Oklahoma, Eunice Wilson of Ft. Supply. Twenty-one grandchildren: Darrell Wells, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Wanda Gypson, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Bob Wells, Caqlifornia; Ida Mae Stevenson, Clovis, New Mexico; Juanitaa pierce, Albuquerque, New Mexico; Arnold Miller, Allison, Texas; Ted Polk, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Thomas Polk, Reydon, Oklahoma; Marilyn Miller, Wichita, Kansas; Edward Donlovey, Topango Canyon, California; Robert Roy Wells, California; Gary Wells, Woodward, Oklahoma; John Wells, North Vernon, Indiana; Fred Johnson, North Vernon, Indiania; Billie Sibley, Fritch, Texas; William Wells, Woodward, Oklahoma; Roy Lee Wells, Butler Ville, Indiana; J.D. Wilson, Bethel, Kansas; Bob Joe Wilson, Kansas City, Kansas; Ronald Wilson, Ft. Supply, OK; S/Sgt. Jesse J. Wilson, Germany. Forty-eight great children, three great great grandchildren; one sister and one brother, a host of other relatives and friends. She was laid to rest in the White Rose cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Services by John Spurlin, Leland burch.
