She was happily married February 17, 1881 to Isom M. Thomas and they emigrated to Oklahoma in 1892. She joined the Methodist church at an early age and she was a beautiful, consecrated life. Born to their union were ten boys and two girls, eight of whom with the devoted husband and father survive3 her. Three of the sons died in infancy, and one girl, the wife of J.B. Austin, passed away, August 4, 1921. The surviving children are: Mrs. Almadia Dykes, Hammon; Riley Benjamin, Wilburn, Harlen, Mavis, all of Hammonand George of Tuciurucari, New Mexico. Funeral services were conducted in the Methodist church in Hammon by Rev. C.E. Rhoads pastor of the Methodist church of Cheyenne, in the presence of a large concourse of friends. Interment if Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
