Townsley, 84, formerly of Ada, will be 2:30 p.m. Friday in the First Free Will Baptist Churdh of Ada, where he was a member of many years. The Ev. Dlebert Akin and the Rev. David Sutton will officiate with burial in Memorial Park. Mr. Townsley died Tuesday in a Norwalk hospital. He was born, January 4, 1895 in Elmore City to Walter and Tuga Smith Townsley. He and Mary Henry were married January 30, 1916 in Center, Oklahoma. His wife preceded him in death June 4, 1978. Survivors include five daughters, Lorene McIlroy, Ada, Juanita Mullins, Norwalk, California, Agnes Horton, Covina, California, Georgia Lee Ragland and Betty Ferguson, both of Oklahoma City; one brother, Lewe Townsley; three sisters, Maggie Townsley, Cheyenne, Oklahoma, Emma Richardson, El Dorado, Oklahoma, Iva Brnkley, Porterville, California; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
