All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Surnames: TOWNSLEY Maggie Lydie Townsley, 95, was born Sept. 28, 1892 in Oran, Texas to Elbert Walter and Tuga May Townsley and died Wednesday in Roger Mills Memorial Hospital. (born Sept 28, 1892, died Nov 19, 1987) As a child she lived with her parents in Center, OK, Riverside, CA, Santa Rita, NM, before moving to Roger Mills County with her brothers, Lee and Harvey in 1923. She then moved to Canadian, TX, before moving to Cheyenne in 1968. She was the second of 10 children. She was employed as a housekeeper, and had been a member of the Cheyenne Pentecostal Holiness church for many years. Presceding her in death were her parents, one sister and seven brothers. Survivors are :one sister, Emma Richeson, of ElDorado, OK, four sisters-in-law, Vivian Townsley of Wilcox, AZ; Violet Townsley Lowell, ARK; Vina Townsley Siloam Springs, ARK; Inez Townsley, Elk City and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Pnetecostal Holiness Church of Cheyenne with A.L. Martin officiating.
