She was born July 29, 1913 near Rankin, Oklahoma to James Wesley and Mettie Provines. She attended grade school at Midway and graduated from high school at Custer City, Oklahoma. Helen and Charlie Turbyfill were married June 26, 1933. Their son, Kelly Neil Turbyfill, was born August 7, 1938. She was a faithful member of the Christian Bible Church in Sequim. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son; 3 sisters, Marion and Mae Provines and Cleo Clay, 2 brothers, Raymond and Robert Provines, and a niece Helen Marie Provines. She is survived by her husband Charlie and son Kelly of Sequim, Washington; a brother and sister-in-law, Loyd and Naomi Provines of Oklahoma City; a brother-in-law, Marvin Turbyfill and wife. She also leaves 6 nieces and 7 nephews, Bula Mae Sides, Durham, Gertrude Flesher, Cheyenne, Oklahoma; Russell Clay, Reydon, Oklahoma; Dean Robinson, Follett, Texas; Hester Millemon, Rolla, Kansas; Kenneth Clay, Hysham, Montana; Mildred Harrison, Attica, Kansas; Gene Provines, Whichita, Kansas; June Griffin, Waurika, Oklahoma; James, Bob, Steven and John Provines.
