He passed away on January 14, 1989 northeast of Leedey at the age of sixty-four years, a casualty of an automobile accident. When Calvin Lester was but two weeks old, his mother passed away, and his beloved Aunt Freda and Uncle Bill Kauk took him into their hearts and home, loving and caring for him as their own. He attended Eueka rural school near his home, where he finished his elementary education, then completed his education in Leedey High School graduating with the class of 1941. On June 1, 1965, Calvin L. Trost and Mary Sue Lindsey were united in marriage at Perrant, Texas. They returned to Leedey where the home was established and maintained through the years. They were the parents of two daughters, Kay and Marilyn. Mr. Trout's chosen field of work was farming and ranching, work which he loved and enjoyed throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Ed and Minnie Trost, his beloved adoptive parents, Bill and Freda Kauk, his devoted wife, Mary Sue Trost, one sister, Ora Kenny, and two brothers, Walter Trost and Hilmer Kauk. Hie isa survived by two daughters, Kay Williams of Elk City and Marilyn Walters of Phoenix, Arizona, four grandchildren, Licia and Sarh Walters, and Kevin and Jason Williams, three brothers, Hugo Trost and Eddie Trost of Berryville, Arkansas and Ted Kauk, of Elk City, several nieces and nephews, other dear ones, and many friends. Memorial services were held Sunday, January 22, 1989 a6t the First United Methodist Church of Leedey with Denis Dicker officiating. Interment followed in the New Hermon Cenetery, Leedey, Oklahoma.
