Surnames: Trammell, Pursley, Swope Originally posted at: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/5YB.2ACE/6492 Anna Pursley was born August 19, 1869 in Navarro County, Texas and departed this life February 20, 1944. She was married to Frank P. Trammell July 12, 1885 at Wortham, Texas. To this union four children were born, two boys and two girls. One girl died in infancy. They moved to Reydon and resided there until her death. The oldest son, Bob, preceded her in death, February 12, 1914, and her husband, Frank Trammell, died January 1, 1925. She leaves to mourn her departure, her son, Gus of Reydon, Oklahoma, daughter, Madell Swope, Los Angeles, California, nine grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J.C. Spurlin, pastor of the Church of Christ at 1 p.m. Friday, at Reydon, with the Fatheree Funeral Home in charge. Interment was in Canadian Cemetery. Those attending the funeral from a distance were: Mr. and Mrs. Ed Swope and son, Bill and daughter, Mrs. Fern Baird of Los Angeles, California and Mrs. Earnest R. Peo, Jr., formerly Mary Trammell of Washington, D.C.; Phil Trammell ands daughter, Mary Eula of Portales, New Mexico, Mrs. Phil Trammell's mother, Mrs. Callis, of Post, Texas.
