Burial was in the Enid Cemetery. Veal died at Lake Tahoe, Nevada where he and his wife, Carla were vacationing. He was taken ill with a blockage coronary and died in his sleep. Bobby Gene was born February 29, 1932 to Harvey and Edora Veal at Sentinel. The family moved to Colony in 1946 where he spent his childhood. In 1950 Veal moved to Enid where he helped build the concrete elevator in Waukomis. He started to work at the Enid Packing Company in 1952 and served as general manager there, he was later married to Carla Gould. He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Harvey Jr., in 1931 and his father, Harvey Veal in 1980. Survivors include his wife, Carla and one son, Dusty of the home in Enid; one daughter, Linda Stone and one granddaughter, Shannon Stone of Garber; four stepchildren, Doug, Kim, Karen and Charlie; his mother, Edora Veal of Corn, Oklahoma; two brothers, Donald Lee of Weatherford and Huston of Eakly, Oklahoma and several nieces and nephews.
