Burial followed in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Elk City, Beckham County, Oklahoma under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home. Dennis Marvin Vincent was born January 31, 1949 in Sayre and died Friday afternoon, September 13, 1991, at the age of 42. Dennis attended Cheyenne Schools. He was employed by Gene Smith Chevrolet and was also a musician, having been involved with bands for many years. He was a member of the Grandview Assembly of God Church. Survivors include: one son, Blaine, of Elk City; his mother, Gertrude Vincent of Elk City; six brothers, Steven, Rodney and Danny Shaw, all of Elk City, Jerry of Norman, Trois Ootton of Shawnee, and Junior Ootton of Graham, Texas; three sisters, Sue Noland of El Reno, Sandra Bullard of Odessa, Texas and Pam Sevo of Sayre, Oklahoma.
