Obit for Eva Pauline Danner Vincent

Eva Pauline Danner Vincent, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Danner, 
was born in Sayre, Oklahoma, March 22, 1906 and departed this life in Cheyenne, 
Oklahoma, March 10, 1961.

She was married to J. Scott Vincent of Cheyenne, Oklahoma on February 6, 1926.

She and her husband lived in San Angelo, Texas until 1931.  At that time they 
returned to Cheyenne where her husband entered the practice of law and they have 
resided in Cheyenne since.

She was a member of the Fist Baptist Church of Cheyenne.

She leaves as survivors her husband of the home, one daughter, Scotty Lou Vincent,
also of the home; one son, Wallace Gene and one daughter-in-law, Billy; 
two grand-children, Donald Robert and Linda Jean Vincent of La Puenta, 
California; four sisters, Mrs. Ruby Rose, Roswell, New Mexico, Mrs. Dorothy 
Stevenson, Sayre, Oklahoma, Mrs. Lydia Lovell, Friona, Texas, Miss Lillie Danner, 
Sayre, Oklahoma, two brothers, L.D. Danner and C.F. Fuchs, Jr., of Sayre.

There are a number of nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

On the morning of march 10, 1961 in the beautiful words of James Aldrich-  
"But when the sun in all his state   
 Illumed the eastern skies,
 She passed through Glory's Morning gate,
 And walked in Paradise".
 
Mrs. Vincent was a devotedc and loving wife and mother.  She always gave her finest 
to her family and others.  Her love and warmth was reflected in all her family 
and each member felt, consoled and comforted by it.

One of her greatest talents was that of home maker.  She delighted in her home and 
in her family.  She performed the common place tasks of everyday living in a calm, 
quiet and serene manner.  She made of her home a place of beauty, a haven of rest 
and love and a place of serenity.  She was a happy joyous person, one who laughed 
easily.  By virture of her inner strength she effected the quality of the day.

In the final hours of her life she had great concern for the welfare of her husband
an her children.  She told them of her love and of her abiding faith in her Lord, 
and advised her family to continue strong in the faith.

Friendship was one of her finest qualitites.  She tried always to be kind and 
helpful, patient and loving.  In her home, in her church, in her community is 
abundant evidence of her love, faith and reverence.  Today the strength of her 
love bridges the years and bears the fruit of immortality.

Interment in Cheyenne Cemetery, Cheyenne, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
