He passed from this life Monday, April 21, 1986 at the Four Seasons Nursing Home in Oklahoma City following an extended illness. Mr. Webb was employed as a Wild Life Ranger for Wilbarger Ranch in Ford County, Texas until 1950 when he moved to Elk City. He was a steam fitter with the oil field and traveled all over the USA. On October 4, 1954 he and Lorene Harmon were united in marriage in Billinger, Montana. When he retired in 1967 they made their home in Sparks, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son and 2 brothers. Survivors include his wife Lorene of the home; 2 daughters, Louise Wylie of Abilene, Texas; Janet Miller of Edmond, Oklahoma; 2 step- daughters, Margie Rightmire, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Sue Jones, Cheyenne, Oklahoma; 1 son, Coyt Webb, Amarillo, Texas; 2 step-sons, Bob and Bill Trammell, both of Cheyenne, Oklahoma; 2 sisters, Bernice Webb and Lela Glasgow both of Midland, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 9 step grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services were Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m. in First Baptist Church of Cheyenne with Aubrey Cowan officiating.
