Website, from Cheyenne Star: William Warner Weeks William Warner Weeks was born May 23, 1873 at Corsicana, Texas. He departed this life at Cheyenne, Oklahoma, at 6 a.m., Jan. 24, 1938, aged 64 years, 8 months and one day. He professed faith in Christ, was baptized and united with the Baptist church in 1901. He was married to Rose Ella Hobsonson August 23, 1904, who preceded him in death December 22, 1929. Billy Weeks homesteaded land on North Dead Indian in 1898 and has resided in Roger Mills county ever since, with the exception of the past two years, when he has been an employee in the historical building, Oklahoma City. He leaves one son, Gene Weeks, of Dalhart, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Joe Ballard, and Sadie Weeks, of Stillwater, Okla.; four sisters, Mrs. A.T. Leddy, Mrs. Rhett Jones, and Mrs. Guy Kendall, of Strong City; and Mrs. Fred McClelland, of Spearman, Texas; two brothers, Joe and Otis Thompson, of Strong City; two grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
