She passed away January 13, 2002 at Ardmore, Oklahoma at the age of 85 years, 11 months and 15 days. She was married to Marvin Weast at Mangum, Oklahoma on April 25, 1932. She lived in Stratford for 50 years. She and her husband owned and operated Weast Grocery, Produce and Fee Store in Stratford for 32 years. She lived in Wetumka and Leedey prior to that. She was a member of the First Bpaitst Church in Stratford, a member of the Stratford Round-Up Club for many years, and the Stratford FFA Mothers Club. She was preceded in death by 1 son, Tommy Weast, in 1989, and 2 brothers and 1 sister. Survivors include her husband of the home; 2 sons, Forrest Weast of Tucson, Arizona and Darrell Weast of Stratford, Oklahoma; 1 daughter, Leora Smith of Pernell, Oklahoma; 2 brothers, Alvin Eaton of Freemont, California and Leo Easton, of Clearlake, California; 2 sisters, Flora May Martell of San Pablo, California and Lawilla Thomas of Lady Lake, Florida; 10 grandchildren, along with other relatives and friends. Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 17, 2000 at the First Baptist Church in Stratford, Oklahoma, officiated by Rev. Marvin Knox, assisted by Rev. Forrest Weast. Burial followed at Corley Cemetery, Stratford, Oklahoma under the direction of Pickard Funeral Home, Stratford, Oklahoma. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
