All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Kimbell Cemetery--Kopperl TX Wiggins, Leta Faye Leta Faye Wiggins, 74, of Granbury and formerly of the Kopperl and Lakeside Village areas of Bosque County, passed away Saturday morning, Jan. 8, 2005, at a Granbury hospital. Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Lawson Funeral Home Chapel, Dr. Sidney Roberts officiating. Burial: Kimbell Cemetery near Kopperl. Visitation: 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Lawson Funeral Home Chapel. Memorials: For those desiring, memorials may be made to Parkinson's Disease Foundation, 710 W. 168th St., New York, N.Y. 10032. Mrs. Wiggins was born Oct. 11, 1930, in Cheyenne, Okla., a daughter of the late Robert Dee and Birdie Lee Clark Green. On Sept. 28, 1948, she was united in marriage to Bobby N. Wiggins in Seminole, Okla. She and her husband lived in Arlington for 30 years, where he was a captain in the Arlington Police Department's Detective Division. After his retirement, the couple moved to Lakeside Village in 1984. Mr. Wiggins preceded his wife in death on June 24, 2001. Mrs. Wiggins was an active member of Kopperl United Methodist Church, where she was song leader for many years. She was also active in many area civic organizations. She was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother. Survivors: Daughters, Carol Susan Lewis and husband, Glen, of Burnet, Janet Faye Southern and husband, Roy, of Arlington and Gloria Jean Martin and husband, Jack, of Granbury; son, James Newell Wiggins and wife, Cindy, of Spokane, Wash.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Rheuben Green and wife, Thelma, of Rush Springs, Okla., Roy Green and wife, Jean, of Fort Mills, S.C., Raymond Green and wife, Virginia, of Jackson, Calif., and Donald Green and wife, Lola, of Seminole, Okla.; sister, Cuba Jean Coates of Seminole, Okla.; sister-in- law, Gladys Blackburn Green of Elk City, Okla.; a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives; and a host of friends.
