Obit for Bessie Hester Wood

Bessie Hester Wood was born December 9, 1897 at Weatherford, Texas and passed 
away September 26, 1964.  She is survived by her husband Ora Wood of Amarillo, 
Texas; one daughter, Patricia Domer of Maderia, California; one son, Bud Wood of 
Phoenix, Arizona; one brother Tom Tackett of Phoenix, Arizona; one sister, Edna 
Scrivner of Reydon, Oklahoma; also two grandchildren and a host of neices, nephews 
and other relatives and friends.

She was loved by all who knew her.  She was a member of the First Christian church 
of Amarillo, Texas.

Relatives and friends from a distance who attended her funeral were Mr. and Mrs. 
John Srivner, of Rye, Colorado, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Salder of Pampa, Texas, Mr. and 
Mrs. Roy Water of Canute, Mr. and Mrs. I.O. Wood of Oklahoma City, Mildred Smith, 
Phoenix, Arizona, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Adair of Midwest city, Mr. and Mrs. James Carl 
Scrivner of Elk City, Maggie Wood, Mr. and Mrs. Randall Evans, Canadian, Texas, Mr. 
and Mrs. Ervice Porter, Cheyenne, Mrs. Floyd Gifford, Midwest City, Mr. and Mrs. W.W. 
Wheeler, Amarillo, Texas. Mr. and Mrs. B.M. Wheeler, Amarillo, Mr. and Mrs. T.M. Tackett, 
Phoenix, Arizona, Mrs. J.T. Domer of Madeira, California, and Bud Woods of Pheonix.
