She was united in marriage to George F. White in 1892. To this union five children were born. One of these preceded her in death. They moved from Mangum to Reydon in 1940, and have made their home here to this date. Mrs. White united with the Baptist Church when a young girl and lived a faithful member until the end. She was a loving mother and a devoted wife always kind and patient. Mrs. White was loved by all who knew her. She leaves to mourn her departure: Her husband, George F. White; four daughters, Mrs. V.O. Sumpter of Reydon, Mrs. Jim Long of Mangum, Oklahoma, Mrs. Alma Brewer, Clovis, New Mexico, Mrs. E.D. Chisum, Mangum, Oklahoma; three sisters, Mrs. Winnie Parten, Waco, Texas, Mrs. Maud Gibson, Sunset, Texas, Mrs. Josie Mathis, of California; five grandchildren and a host of friends.
