Roy Wilson were conducted Monday, October 18, 2004 at 10;30 a.m. from the ammon First Baptist Church with Rev. Stan Baker officiating. Interment will follow in the Red Hill Cemetery, Hammon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home of Elk City. Roy Leonard Wilson was born April 18, 1929 at Monterey, Tennessee to Horace and Mabel Magil Wilson and passed away Thursday ctober 15, 2004 at the age of 75. He graduated from Hammon High School and then continued his education at Oklahoma Baptist University at Shawnee and then Seminary at Jansas City. Roy ministered in Kansas and Oklahoma and many places in western Oklahoma. He also loved to farm. work the dairy and do construction work with his brother. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Delbert Wilson and a sister, Treva Ray. Survivors include 2 sisters: Georgie Stout of Elk City and Janda Wing of Garland, Texas and a brother, Donald Wilson of Hammon and many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
