She was taken suddenly ill, December 18, 1922 with appendicitis, was moved to Methodist Hospital, she rallied fined after operation and for a short time gave hopeds of recovery. Altho all was done and every care taken by loving hands, she passed away to the Great Beyond December 22, 1922 at 1 o'clock A.M. Her childhood was spent in Monocco, Indiana attending school until March 1902 when with her parents moved to Elk City, Oklahoma where shed continued her education and grew to womanhood. On October 14, 1907 she was united in marriage to Hedber W. Wilson and to this union was born a sweet little girl, Ellen Patricia, a now 2 years and 9 months. They lived in and near Elk City until November 1920 when with her family she moved to Los Angeles, California. Wilma was of cheerful disposition loved by all who knew, meeting life's problems with a smiled and with great strength and fortitude, believing and trusting in Divine Guidance. Her noble character and good deeds will shine as an example to her family and friends. Besides her bereaved husband and daughter of Los Angeles and parents of Rankin she leaves three brothers and sisters, Mrs. Leota Cowden, Jones, Oklahoma, Mrs. Marjorie Walden, Englewood, Kansas, Mrs. Jessie Sowders, Moontie, Lela and Vernon Morse at Rankin, Gaston and Thomas Morse of Columbus, Colorado and a host of friends to mourn her loss. She was laid to rest, Wednesday, December 27, 1922.
