Wilson were conducted in the Cheyenne Baptist Church Thursday, January 22, 1970, at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Loyd Martin and Rev. Milton Gage officiating. Date of death was January 19, 1970 at 3:30 p.m. in Cheyenne his present home. He was the son of James J. Wilson and Nancy Armona Wilson, born April 7, 1911 in Crawford, Oklahoma. He was united in marriage to Lois Thompson on December 3rd, 1932, at Sayre, Oklaholma. To this union were born three sons, David L., of Waka, Texas; Jerry J., of Cheyenne, Oklahom and Terry T. of Eugene, Oregon. Survivors are his wife of the home address; and the three sons; and brothers and sisters are Raymond E. Wilson of Crawford; John D., Ft. Supply; Florance Hooper, Cheyenne; Roberta Ridgeway, Crawford; Ruth Cantrell, of Woodward; and Erma A. Wilson of Cheyenne; seven grandchildren. Interment was in the Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Scroggins and Son in charged of arrangements. Pall bearers were Johnny Cannon, John F. Clay, Oran McGlothlin, Guy Baker, Chester Wright, Lee Tindell, Bobby Cannon, Gary Scott, Art Scott, Jack McDaniel, Ralph Hanawalt, Johnny Grant, and Ralph Coon.
