Services were held Monday, December 13, 1976, at the Strong City Baptist Church, with Rev. A.L. Martin officiating. Interment was in the Strong City Cemetery, Strong City, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the directions of Scroggins Funeral Home. Mary lived in Roger Mills County for 50 years. She was married to Lowe Hayden. She later married Victor Walker. Preceding her in death were: one son, George Hayden, Mr. Hayden and Mr. Walker. She leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters: Mrs. Vernell Williams, Temple, Texas; and Jewel Oleta Falco, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; two sons, Hubert Hayden, Stillwater, Oklahoma; and Dubert Hayden, Eagle River, Alaska; two sisters, Mattie Belle Flippin and Mrs. Ada Edwards, both of Abiline, Texas; two brothers: Johnny Brown, Abilene, Texas and Harvey Brown of Lubbock, Texas.
