At the age of 20, she married her childhood sweetheart, Victor Calvin Walker. She was a faithful, dedicated and loving minister's wife for 61 years in the churches of the Assemblies of God. She supported Calvin as he continued to minister in revivals, holding special services and serving as interim pastors in various churches in Oklahoma. Ilo's hobbies included quilting, sewing, crafts, working crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, caring for her beautiful flowers, gardening and reading. She loved spending time with her grand and great grandchildren, whether it was riding horses, reading, playing games or just listening to them and making them comfortable beside her bedside when they spent the night with her.
