She passed away October 24, 2001, at the age of 84 years, and 9 days. She was married to Vertie Wallace Williamson at Woodward, Oklahoma on August 7, 1938. She was a tailor by profession. Mrs. Williamson was a member of Hammon Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Dale Williamson, two brothers, Bud and Eugene Stancel, and a sister, Elsie Hutchinson. Mrs. Williamson is survived by a daughter, Melba Cook, Cove, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Kevin and wife, Renee Ward, Yukon, Oklahoma; Angie and husband, Roger Walton, Yukon, Oklahoma; Brian Ward, Bethany, Oklahoma; two great grandchildren, Matt and Mark Ward, a brother, Randolph Stancel, Elk City, Oklahoma and a sister Stella Kauk, Leedey, Oklahoma. Services were held October 27, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. at Whinery-Savage Chapel. Survivors include: daughter, Melba Cook of Cove, Arkansas, grandchildren, Kevin and wife, Renee Ward of Yukon, Oklahoma, Angie and husband, Roger Walton of Yukon, Oklahoma, Brian Ward of Bethany, Oklahoma; great grandchildren, Matt and Mark Ward; brother, Randolph Stancel of Elk City, Oklahoma and sister, Stella Kauk of Leedey, Oklahoma.
