Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. in the First Christian church, Canadian. Born October 12, 1897 in Clay county, Illinois, she was married September 13, 1916 to Roy Wheeler at Rankin. She was a member of the First Christian church, Canadian, and active in the Lois circle of the church. She moved to Canadian in 1934. Preceding her in death were her parents, one brother, two sisters, and one grandchild. Survivors are her husband of the home; four daughters, Mrs. Charney Kent, Miami, Texas, Mrs. W.B. Sorensen, Mrs. Jerry Carr, both of Canadian, Texas, Mrs. Edward Stevenson, Goodman, Missouri, two sons Melvin of Neosho, Missouri, Kenneth of Midland, South Dakota; 21 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren. Interment will be in the Canadian cemetery, Canadian, Hemphill County, Texas. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, Ok 1967
