The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ *********************************************************************** Obit for Mrs. Arah (Sadie) Wheeler Mrs. Arah (Sadie) Wheeler, 81, an early day pioneer of Rankin 19089 and Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma and later Canadian, Texas passed away Wednesday September 11, 1968 at Craig Memorial Hospital, Vinita, Oklahoma. She was born May 21, 1887 in Missouri, she had live in Canadian for a number of years, before moving to Vinita in 1936. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. Her husband, Ben F. Wheeler, died in 1963, and a daughter, Lou8ise Rich 1965. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Tillie Highland, of Vinita, Mrs. arlene Billings, of Des Moines, Iowa; and Mrs. Arlene Nanola Allen, of Springdale, Arkansas; four sons Leo W., of Riggins, Texas; Dow of Canadian, Texas; oe of Higgins, Texas and Ben of Stratford, Texas; 22 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Nancy White of Vinita, and Mrs. Nola Hendry of Coffeyville, Kansas and two brothers, Bill and Charles Walker of Vinita. Funeral service were held Friday, September 13, 1968 in the Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Max Pendley officiating. Burial was in Fairview cemetery at Vinita. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, Ok
