All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Berlin Cemetery--Berlin OK Leroy Wingo SUNRAY - Leroy Wingo, 78, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1999, at Dumas. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Sunray Baptist Church with the Rev. Philip Hilton, pastor, officiating. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Berlin Cemetery at Berlin, Okla., with the Rev. Floyd Wingo Jr., a Baptist minister from Stillwater, Okla., officiating. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mr. Wingo was born in Berlin and had lived in Sunray since 1969. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He retired from the sanitation department for the city of Sunray in 1983 and was a longtime cowboy. He married Juanita Mutschler in 1943 at Elk City, Okla. He was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Lyndell Wingo, in 1965. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Gary C. Wingo of Lamar, Colo., and Tom Wingo of Sunray; three brothers, Raymond Wingo of Wilburton, Okla., Floyd Wingo of Cheyenne, Okla., and Jack Wingo of Henderson, Nev.; two sisters, Joyce Nation of Wilburton, Okla., and Dorothy Strickland of Kingman, Ariz.; five grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren. The family will be at 600 Avenue O in Sunray. They request memorials be to Meals on Wheels, Lew Haile Annex, Room 209, 810 S. Dumas Ave., Dumas, TX 79029.
