Wingo Joe L., 11 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Wingo of Berlin died from a broken neck Monday, August 2, 1965. The boy was found by his father in a road near the home about 7 p.m. There was a tank, a piece of gas pipe, and a small kite attached to an elecrical high line. According to authentic information, the boy was not electrocuted. He may have climbed on the gas tank, received a small shock causing him to fall and break his neck or he may have been trying to pole valut when he fell. He is survived by his parents two brothers Tom and Gary, and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Mutschler of Berling. Funeral services will be Thursday August 5, 1965 at 2:30 p.m. in the school auditorium. Scroggins and Son are in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in the Berlin cemetery, Berlin, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma. Cheyenne Star, Cheyenne, OK
