He lived in Iowa and Kansas before coming to Oklahoma in 1899 with his parents. In 1902 they arrived at the place known as old Rankin and now known as Reydon. From December 31, 1917 to May 20, 1919 he was a member of the Armed Forces and fought for his country during World War I. August 12, 1924, he was married to Pauline Anna Yost at Cheyenne, Oklahoma. From the time of his marriage until his passing they made their home at Reydon. He was active in all school and civic affairs and was a strong believer in the teachings of the Bible. He was a member of the I.O.O.F.,, Rebekah Lodge and American Legion. He was loved by all who knews him and was always doing kind deeds for someone, expecially school children. He is survived by his wife, Pauline Wineinger of the home address and one brother, Roy Wineinger. Services were held Wednesday, April 27, 1949 at 2:30 p.m. from the First Baptist Church a Reydon. Fatheree Funeral Home of Erick was in charge of arrangements with interment in the White Rose Cemetery, Reydon, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma.
