Mrs. Windle was born April 12, 1910, at Elk City. She graduated from Elk City High School in 1930 and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Stillwater. She taught school at Hammon, Granite and Mangum. She met Harmon Windle while teaching at Hammon and they were married on June 2, 1935. She is survived by her husband, Harmon of the home; five children: Tom J. Windle, Bartlesville, Bob Windle of Catoosa; Beth Waugh of Buffalo; Charles Windle and Kathy Wade of Granit; two brothers: Tom and Joe Miller of Elk City; 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
