She passed away October 15, 2002 in Amarillo, Texas at the age of 29 years 6 months and 29 days. Cassie was born with Downs Syndrome and was a blessing in each life she touched. She truly displayed character that is desirable for all of us. She was giving, loving and foregoing. Her sweet smile and unconditional love was unique, she was an angel in waiting. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Elda Wright and Opal Mabra, maternal grandfather, Carl Parman, and brother, Shad. Graveside services was held Wednesday, October 16, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at White Rose Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Margaret Friend. Arrangements are under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service. Survivors include her parents, Ronnie and Carlene Wright of Amarillo, Texas, her brother, Shad Lee Wright, Jr., of Amarillo, Texas, her grandmother, Alene Parman of Elk City, Oklahoma, several aunts, uncles, and cousins; host of relatives and friends.
