Wright at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, Cheyenne, Oklahoma with Rev. A.L. Martin and Casey Paxton officiating. Interment was in the Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma under the direction of Rose Chapel Funeral Service of Cheyenne. Ardie was born April 30, 1913 in Marietta, Okla., to George W. and Georia Lee Nallever Brown. She moved with her mother to Roger Mills County in 1919. She married Chester O. Wright, December 22, 1928 in Sayre, Oklahoma. They lived south of the Crawford Community until moving to Cheyenne in 1960. She was a member of the Magnolia Baptist Church of Crawford. Ardie was preceded in death by a son, George in 1984; three sisters and three brothers, also her parents. Survivors are her husband, Chester O., of the home; one son Glen Wright, Springfield, Oregon; three daughters, Wanda Miller, Danbury, NE; Sue Purcell, Augsburg, Germany; Pat Sprowls, Elk City, Okla.; 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers were: Eddie Wilson, Willie Springer, Gerald Montgomery, Gene Ford, Scott Ford and Jimmy Beavin.
